Attention Creeps: Upskirt Photos Legal in Massachusetts
Isn’t the American justice system fantastic? Not only did a Florida court let Casey Anthony and George Zimmerman get away with the murder of children, but now Massachusetts’ highest court has ruled that is legal to take “upskirt” photos.
Ladies in the Bay State, beware. Creeps now have government permission to take pictures and videos of your nether regions. So why exactly is that? It seems like a major personal space violation. Apparently not unless you are completely nude would this be breaking any kid of law.
According to CNN the Massachusetts high court said that the victims were not violated because when the creeper took pictures of them on an MBTA trolley the were not “nude or partially nude.”
The law in Massachusetts doesn’t state that just shoving a camera under a ladies chair is a major violation (unless she were going commando, I guess) so therefore the person in question is not in trouble for just taking photos of ladies in their panties.
Tell me, why does common sense not play a major part in decisions like this. Despite the women being unknowingly photographed and in such a manor, you would think that they might revise this law a little bit.
When I reached out to a creep to ask him about how he felt about this decision he had this to say:
