Local Woman Rocking NYC With Delicious Gluten Free, Vegan Sweets
If you’re like me – and dozens of countless others – you’ve given up some of your favorite foods in order to be healthier. But what if I told you that if you have a sweet tooth you can have your cake and eat it too? What if I told you that you could have some cookies and not feel guilty?
My friend Quinn Ventura is currently taking New York City (and soon the world) by storm with her delicious gluten free, vegan treats from Blossom Bakery in Chelsea. Quinn happens to be the executive pastry chef at Blossom De Jour.
She has been featured on a variety of programs like NY1, Fox News Kitchen Superstars, Sirius XM Satellite Radio, and The Couch on CBS New York.
I know plenty of people who have gone vegan. To some people that means tofu, veggies and fruits. However Quinn is showing everyone that you can have your favorite sweets just by substituting animal products for vegan ingredients like vegan butter, which is made up of different types of oils instead of animal product.
All I have to say is that I’m not surprised that Quinn is a superstar because she’s been one since I met her years ago. I’m very proud of her, and happy to see all of her hard work paying off. You rock, Quinn!
