We’ve all been anxiously awaiting all the good things that are coming out of the San Diego Comic Con, and revealed today is the trailer for the next season of AMC’s “The Walking Dead.” 

In the immortal words of Samuel L. Jackson in “Jurassic Park” – “hold onto your butts!”

Season four of “The Walking Dead” ended with what is one of the best finales of all time. It’s everything that we love about this show, and I think the roller coaster ride will continue into the fifth season.

What do we know?

It looks like Rick and company develop some kind of relationship with their captors from the end of season four. Now they are all on a mission to get Eugene to Washington DC to solve this whole zombie apocalypse thing.

Obviously Carol and Tyreese have survived, and we see that they some how get to Rick and the gang because Rick is sitting with Judith. When does all this happen? Who knows. This relationship with their captors can’t last long though. Trust doesn’t come easy in this world.

Also, we get to see the Beth is okay – sort of. It looks like she’s being held in some sort of prison or hospital? I’m sure they’ll do an entire episode on it, so sit tight.

The season premiers on October 12, 2014.
