‘Twin Peaks’ To Get Revival On Showtime
The cult hit TV show that aired from just 1990-1991 is getting another shot, and this time it will test the limits with a slot on cable. Showtime announced it was bring us all back to Twin Peaks earlier today.
Those of you who loved David Lynch’s serial drama are going to be getting a little bit more. David Lynch let fans know all about it on twitter, where everyone presumably went nuts. We are talking about “Twin Peaks” after all.
One thing that fans of the show can look forward to is a continuation series. Lynch assured everyone that this is not a reboot, but it will pick up where things left off – just 25 years in the future.
We assume that Dale Cooper (Kyle MacLachlan) will be back. If not permanently, then at least back for a few episodes. All we can say is bring on the weird.
The new “Twin Peaks” will hit Showtime in 2016.
