No Kiss At Weekend Duggar Wedding

Nothing surprises me anymore when it comes to one of America’s largest families. Jessa Duggar and Ben Seewald became man and wife on Saturday in front of an estimated 1,000 people. The one thing they did not do to seal their man and wife status – is share a first kiss!

If you follow the Duggar’s at all you know how religious they are. There is no hand holding until you’re engaged. There is no kissing until you’re married. So why did they decided to not exchange a kiss at the wedding ceremony?

Jessa and Ben wanted to share their first kiss in private – just the two of them. Aww…how cute, right? I wonder if it wasn’t more of a cold feet thing from the two. I mean what if you screwed it up – in front of 1,000 people? If you haven’t kissed anyone before in your life, how good can you be at it?

The crowd of well wishers was not left without a Duggar kiss though as Jessa’s parents, Jim Bob and Michelle, showed the crowd a kiss.

The couple went off to spend some time alone following the ceremony where they surely shared their first kiss. At the reception they exchanged several kisses. The other thing missing from the wedding was a traditional wedding cake. Jessa’s not a fan of cake so instead the couple chose ice cream sundaes.

There’s nothing wrong with putting your own personal spin on your wedding day! As long as Jessa and Ben had a great time – that’s all that matters! Here’s well wishes for the newly married pair!
