We are the ones dealing with the hundreds of coupons you bring in and trying to figure out what gives you the best deal. We are the ones standing in one location for hours as our lines get longer and longer. We are the ones taking the brunt of the frustration when you finally make it to the front of the line only to realize you forgot an item and ask us to hold on to your items and wait for you.

It’s not our fault that a customer can’t make up their mind about what they want.
It’s not our fault that we don’t have an item in stock.
It’s not our fault that there is only one person in a location ringing customers out.
It’s not our fault that it’s mandatory that we take a break before a certain time and we need to tell you you need to wait a few minutes for someone else.
We are doing the best we can! You need to be patient. You need to be kind. You need to realize that we are doing a job. Simple as that. We do not deserve to be yelled at. We do not deserve to receive the looks like we are ignoring you. We see you. We know you’re there. We will be with you as soon as we can.
