‘X-Men: Apocalypse’ Casts Jubilee
The amount of new mutants being added to the cast of “X-Men: Apocalypse” continues to grow. Director Bryan Singer posted the announcement of the casting of Jubilee late Wednesday.
The actress that will be taking on the roll is a fresh face. Her name is Lana Condor, and it continues with Singer’s choice of young, relatively unknown actors to take on the roles.
Jubliee is a mutant that most of us in the late 80’s and 90’s grew up with. She was a main focus in the X-Men animated series that used to air of Fox.
Condor joins other young stars on the X-Men team, Sophie Turner (Jean Grey), Alexandra Shipp (Storm), Kodi Smit-McPhee (Nightcrawler), and Tye Sheridan (Cyclops). They’re joined by veteran X-Men stars ames McAvoy, Michael Fassbender, Jennifer Lawrence, Nicholas Hoult and Rose Byrne.
“X-Men: Apocalpyse” hits theaters May 27, 2016.
