When Will We See a ‘Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice’ Trailer? Now We Know!
Let’s hope this information isn’t just a hoax like the last time we got “Batman v Superman” trailer rumors.
According to Cinema Blend, it has been confirmed that we will get our first official trailer for Zack Snyder’s “Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice” with George Miller’s “Mad Max: Fury Road.” The paring of them makes perfect sense, since they are both Warner Bros. movies. Plus, DC/Warner Bros. wouldn’t mind stepping on the toes of Marvel’s “Avengers: Age of Ultron.”
“Mad Max: Fury Road” comes out on May 15, 2015. So they are hoping that all the hype about “Avengers” will die down in two weeks – not likely, look at how long “Guardians” crushed in – and that will give them the big publicity window they are looking for. Also going against them is the fact that Disney is paring up a “Star Wars: The Force Awakens” trailer with “Avengers.” As you can imagine, DC won’t want to go up against two proven giants.
All I can say is it’s about time that we get a look at this film. We know it’s going to be big. We know it’s going to be dark. Now all we need to know is if it’s going to be any good. We’ve been pretty critical of DC, but I’m holding onto hope that they wouldn’t let a project like this fail. Maybe we’ll even get a look at all the other DC heroes that will be making appearances in this film, too.
“Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice” will hit theaters March 25, 2016.
