First Look at X-Men: Apocalypse’s Nightcrawler
Nightcrawler is a character every X-Men fan loves. It was a little bit disappointing to see how they ditched the character after X2, but we’ll be getting reintroduced to our favorite acrobatic teleporter in 2016’s “X-Men: Apocalypse.”
The picture is a little dark, but this is the first look at actor Kodi Smit-Mcphee in all his Nightcrawler glory. Not too bad, if you ask me.
I like the way that they have kept the colors of his original X-Men uniform with the clothing he has on in this promo shot. It also looks like they’ll be using a similar effect for his teleporting, jsut like Alan Cumming’s portrayal in X2.
“X-Men: Apocalypse” also features younger versions of Jean Grey, Cyclopes, Storm, and Archangel. Those characters will join the returning cast of the first two X-Men reboots, “First Class” and “Days of Future Past.”
As of right now there is no confirmation if Hugh Jackman will be reprising his role as Wolverine in the film. It hits theaters in May 2016.
