First Look at Apocalypse from “X-Men: Apocalypse”
Ever since Bryan Singer took over directing the X-Men films again they have certainly gained back the credibility that they lost. His crowning achievement may lay with 2016’s “X-Men: Apocalypse.”
The first trailer for what appears to be Bryan Singer’s final X-Men movie (we’ll see) hit Comic Con over the weekend, and of course they didn’t fully release it. But thanks to some awesome folks at Comic Con for leaking it for us to check out too. After all, why should just a few people in one room get to see all this awesome?
First of all, I think that Oscar Isaac looks pretty awesome as arguably the greatest X-Men villain of all time. We get a first look at him in the trailer, finally. As a matter of fact, we get to see pretty much all the X-Men, but I didn’t spot Wolverine. It has been mentioned that he’ll have a cameo, but no word on when or where that will be.
Apocalypse is going to be a force that will rock the mutant world. He is ancient, powerful, and a master manipulator.
It looks like Singer has turned Magneto, and Storm, into Horsemen for Apocalypse, which is pretty cool. The whole trying to bring Magneto back from the “dark side” has always been one of Xavier’s biggest battles. At some points a lost cause, but he never truly wants to abandon his friends.
I honestly can’t wait to get a full look at this trailer, and the movie, which comes out in 2016.
