Long-Time WGNA DJ Lou Roberts Leaving Station
After 26 years as one of your favorite country DJ’s on 107.7 WGNA, “Brother” Lou Roberts is moving down the dial – and to a new format.
Long-time Capital Region DJ, Lou Roberts, is taking his voice down the radio dial! After nearly three decades on Albany’s country station, WGNA 107.7, Lou will be heard on 101.3 The Jockey starting Monday afternoon.
Lou has hosted every shift on WGNA over the last 26 years, including the popular call-in show, Cryin’ Lovin’ or Leavin’ each week night. Now, Lou has decided to leave country music behind for a different genre of music. Lou will play more of a mix – or as he states – “going from Jason Aldean to Adam Levine.”
Roberts is leaving on his own free will – you can read the statement on his official Facebook page.
We at X-Jock have all worked with Lou over the years and have the honor to call him our friend. We wish Lou all the success in the world on his new home in the Capital Region – 101.3.
