Joe’s Crabshack Closes in Latham
Joe’s Crabshack in Latham appears to have mysteriously closed this week, just three short years after opening their first restaurant in the Capital Region.
Joe’s Crabshack has closed up shop at it’s Latham location this week, three years after opening their doors to the Albany area.
The popular seafood restaurant has removed the location, located at 579 Troy Schenectady Road, from their website and a photo posted on Times Union this week shows U-Haul trucks taking up the parking lot.
Delicious steampots of lobster aside, the area has been losing it’s fair share of eateries recently. Slingerland’s Mangia closed down earlier this year, not long after Albany’s Taste. Gone are Milestone in Glenmont, Orange Mango in Colonie, El Mariachi in Albany, Beff’s on Everett – even the Wolf Road Diner was torn down. Hopefully a few more local eateries spring up and flourish for our taste buds.
