‘Legends of Tomorrow’ Gets Release Date and New Trailer
We’ve seen the seeds sown for the next chapter of The CW’s Arrow-verse, but it looks like we finally got a release date for “Legends of Tomorrow” plus an all new action packed trailer.
Say what you will about DC Comics’ movie universe, but their television universe in fantastic. Joining up with the already successful “Arrow” and “The Flash” comes “Legends of Tomorrow.” It will premiere January 21, 2015, a Thursday. That means that the CW has Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday night for their comic book shows. Let’s also not forget that “Supergirl” on CBS falls under the same production umbrella on Monday nights, so we could eventually see a crossover there.
The “Legends of Tomorrow” team has started to be assembled on “Arrow’ and “The Flash” and will all start coming together in the upcoming episodes of the shows on December 1st and 2nd.
The team will consist of:
- The Atom
- White Canary
- Firestorm
- Hawkman
- Hawkgirl
- Captain Cold
- Heatwave
- Rip Hunter
Rip Hunter is a time traveler who has chosen them to fight Vandal Savage, an immortal who has used his ability to take control of the world in Rip Hunter’s future. The team will travel through time to make sure that Vandal Savage cannot take over.
