Here we are at Episode 35 of the Geek Show, and there is a lot to talk about.
New “Suicide Squad” trailer:
More Joker, more Harley, MORE EVERYTHING! This latest trailer for DC’s “Suicide Squad” does agreat job of selling this movie as the anti-superhero movie. We’re not supposed to like these characters, but we do. “Suicide Squad” hits theaters in August 2016.
Steve Rogers Returns as Captain America

Those of you who follow the comics know that Steve Rogers has been sidelined as Cap because of the removal of his super-soldier serum. It looks like he gets it back because he returns to the role later this year. It also looks like a new suit design that looks a lot like the MCU version of Cap played by Chris Evans. All Things Justice League!

DC is pouring on content from their “Justice League” project, including this badass new artwork. So here are some more notes on the upcoming JL film”

Deadpool: X-Force coming?
We already know that somewhere out there is an X-Force script. Now Ryan Reynolds is saying that maybe we can get an R rated X-Force movie. Deadpool has already been given that hard R and it’s been met with some backlash from parents and has been banned in China. More here
Ryan also says a Cable and Deadpool movie is being talked about. More

- Young Superman cast for “Supergirl” – will be played by Daniel DiMaggio. More
- Jonah Hex will be joining the Legends of Tomorrow. The CW has revealed that Johnathon Schaech (Ray Donovan) will play Jonah Hex in DC’s Legends of Tomorrow. He’ll show up in episode 11. More
- ‘Star Wars: Episode VIII’ will hit theaters December 15, 2017. Originally scheduled for summer 2017, now winter release. More
