Celebrities and NFL stars are set to take the basketball court at Hudson High this weekend, raising money for charity.  Hudson native and pro football player, Rashad Barksdale, hosts the sixth annual Run This Town charity basketball game in which you’ll see some famous faces.

Rashad Barksdale is hosting his sixth annual Run This Town charity celebrity basketball game on Saturday, February 27th at Hudson High – just an hour South of the Capital Region.

A Hudson native, Barksdale took his football talent all the way to the NFL where he played for five different teams over the course of his career, including stints with both the Giants and Jets.  Not once forgetting his old neighborhood, Rashad has created the Its OK to Dream Foundation – a charity that gives back to Hudson with funds going to youth organizations and college educations.

A celebrity basketball game has been set up to hep raise funds for Rashad’s charity, at which some pretty familiar faces are set to turn up.  Hitting the court with Rashad will be another local standout – from Albany, NY. – the New England Patriots’ Dion Lewis.  You’ll also see the New York Giants’ Dominique Rodgers-Cromartie, as well as rap star Driicky Graham.

The celebrity game will have doors open at 4:30 PM on Saturday, February 27th.  The game will start at 5:30 PM.  Kids are $4 and Adults $6.  Address: Hudson High School -208 Harry Howard Ave, Hudson, NY 12534.
