Lightsaber Duels Air on ESPN’s The OCHO [VIDEO]
Ever dream of competing in a Lightsaber challenge? The duels are real, the league is legit, and you can catch all of the action of your future profession on TV TODAY! To couple with ESPSN’s homage to the movie Dodgeball, the network is running “alternative” sports on ESPN The Ocho – and you can watch The Saber Legion.
The 2004 film, Dodgeball, created a fictitious sports network, ESPN The Ocho, to air the big match in the movie. With today being 8/8/18, ESPN played along with the gag and turned ESPN 2 into “The Ocho” and are airing not just dodgeball, but other awesome events today – including a LIGHTSABER TOURNAMENT.
At 2:00 PM on The Ohco, you’ll see The Saber Legion 2018: The Awakening. Imagine fencing, in Star Wars gear, with your Lightsaber. This is everything you have dreamed of, and more. Live out the fantasy, on TV? NICE.
Check out a sick promo for the league:
