Right on the heels of the release of the new trailer, for the Disney+ Moon Knight series, French actor Gaspard Ulliel, one of it’s cast has died in a tragic skiing accident in the French Alps. He was only 37 years old. According to reports, the actor was skiing in the Savoie region when he collided with another skier and suffered serious brain trauma. He was transported by helicopter to a hospital in Grenoble. Local authorities have said they opening an investigation into the accident according to reports in Variety on Wednesday. The other skier was not hospitalized.
Ulliel was cast to play the role of Midnight Man in the new series from Marvel Studios, that co-stars Oscar Isaac and Ethan Hawke. Born on November 25, in1984, in Boulogne-Billancourt, Ulliel is best known for his role as the young Hannibal Lecter in “Hannibal Rising.”
Ulliel leaves behind one son with French model and singer Gaëlle Piétri.
